Waterproofing Technician

Reports To: Waterproofing Supervisor
Summary:
The Waterproofing Technician is responsible for applying waterproofing materials to buildings and other structures to prevent water from penetrating and causing damage. This includes cleaning and preparing surfaces, mixing and applying waterproofing materials, and inspecting finished work. The Waterproofing Technician also works closely with other construction workers, such as roofers and masons, to ensure that waterproofing is properly integrated into the overall construction process.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare surfaces for waterproofing application
- Mix and apply waterproofing materials according to specifications
- Inspect finished work to ensure that it meets quality standards
- Work closely with other construction workers to ensure that waterproofing is properly integrated into the overall construction process
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
