Full job description:
The Construction Project Engineer is responsible for the technical aspects of a construction project. This includes working with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop and finalize designs, as well as ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Construction Project Engineer also plays a key role in managing the project budget and schedule, and in coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Work with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop and finalize designs
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the plans and specifications
- Manage the project budget and schedule
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Oversee quality control and inspection activities
- Resolve construction problems and issues
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Ability to use construction software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
