Metal Installation

Summary:
The Metal Installation Laborer is responsible for the installation of metal roofing, siding, and other metal components on buildings and other structures. This includes measuring, cutting, and installing metal materials, as well as operating and maintaining metalworking equipment. The Metal Installation Laborer also works closely with other construction workers, such as carpenters and roofers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install metal roofing, siding, and other metal components on buildings and other structures
- Operate and maintain metalworking equipment
- Work closely with other construction workers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in metal installation or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong physical condition
- Ability to work in all weather conditions

- Assist with the loading and unloading of metal materials
- Prepare work areas and set up tools and equipment
- Perform inspections of completed work
- Clean and maintain work tools and equipment
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of metal structures
