Flex Time Off Policy for MCON | Southam | Uneeke | Supply Options

MCON hires exceptional, professional individuals to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of our group of companies. It is MCON’s intent to provide its employees paid flex time off to balance the responsibilities of both their work and home lives, thereby maximizing their value to MCON and creating a healthy work-life balance.


Eligibility

Full-time employees with 1 year of continuous full-time service are eligible under this policy.  


Expectations

Under this policy, full-time employees are expected to:

  • Recognize that at MCON, we value all employees’ contributions and are committed to communicating with our team members in advance when scheduling an absence or notifying the appropriate team member 2 weeks prior to time off unless it’s a family emergency or personal illness.
  • Understand that not all leave requests can be honored. Advance requests are still subject to the appropriate approval.
  • Meet all established goals despite the absences.


Flex Time Balances will be allocated as follows:

  • 40 hours of flex time at 1st work anniversary
  • 80 hours of flex time at 2 year work anniversary
  • 120 hours of flex time at 3 year work anniversary and each work anniversary after that

With the exception of those on protected leave (such as state or federal family and medical leave), if an eligible employee cannot meet the expectations outlined above, MCON Companies reserve the right to temporarily revoke Flex Time Off for that individual. 


Verification

MCON reserves the right to request verification of absences.

*FTO is not available to those who put in a resignation notice, have been terminated, and is not paid out upon separation from the company.

*FTO does not entail banked hours or accrued hours.

*FTO can be denied to those who currently have violations or warnings in their employee file.

*Employees whose average weekly working hours fall below 40 hours while maintaining full-time status will have their FTO allocated based on their average weekly hours.
